Gervonta Davis' furious hairstylist hits back at boxer over bizarre 'grease' excuse for taking knee in fight
The hairstylist accused by Gervonta Davis of putting too much 'grease' in his braids before his controversial draw against Lamont Roach has issued a furious response to the boxer. Davis, better known as 'Tank', was fortunate to escape with a majority draw in his clash with Roach on Saturday night, having somehow avoided being counted for a knockdown when he took a knee in the ninth round. Inexplicably, referee Steve Willis resumed the action without scoring it as an official knockdown, before the WBA lightweight champion held on to his title thanks to two scores of 114-114 and one 115-113 verdict in his favor.
