WNBA legend Elena Delle Donne announces her retirement after 10 seasons and two MVP crowns
Elena Delle Donne, a two-time WNBA Most Valuable Player, has announced her retirement from basketball. The 35-year-old, who played for the Chicago Sky and Washington Mystics, enjoyed a glittering basketball career. She was selected second overall by the Sky back in 2013 and went on to win a WNBA title with the Mystics in 2019. Delle Donne was a seven-time All Star - most recently in 2023 - but the 35-year-old confirmed her decision to retire in a statement on Friday.
