And this time, it's more than just a movie.

NASCAR is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with DEGA-CON, a three-day celebration at Talladega Superspeedway from October 23–25.

The festivities include a special screening of the film, exclusive merchandise, themed activities and appearances from four cast members.

Greg Germann, David Koechner, Ian Roberts and Grayson Russell are all confirmed to attend, giving fans a chance to meet some familiar faces from the comedy.

And because it's Talladega, things are getting a little ridiculous.

Fans will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Ricky Bobby.

But the celebration goes beyond costumes and movie quotes.

Since its release in 2006, Talladega Nights has become one of NASCAR's most recognizable connections to pop culture. From fictional sponsors to unforgettable one-liners, the film has remained part of racing culture long after its theatrical run.

Now, two decades later, NASCAR is embracing that connection during a race weekend featuring all three national series.

And while Ricky Bobby may be fictional, his place in NASCAR culture is anything but.
