Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight Vince Morales needed just 63 seconds to stop fellow UFC veteran Daniel Lacerda in the main event of Tuff-N-Uff 158 this past weekend (Sat., Oct. 24, 2026) inside Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Morales pressured Lacerda from the opening bell while the Brazilian fired off a steady stream of kicks. After briefly stunning Lacerda with a combination against the fence, Morales caught him rushing forward with a stiff jab that sent him crashing to the canvas.
"Vandetta" immediately pounced and unloaded ground-and-pound until the referee stepped in to stop the fight.
Morales (17-11) snapped a four-fight losing streak that included decision losses to Colby Thicknesse , Raul Rosas Jr. and Taylor Lapilus during his second UFC stint .
Unfortunately for the 35-year-old, a third trip to the Octagon appears unlikely. Morales compiled a 3-9 promotional record across two separate UFC runs, meaning no matter how many opponents he dispatches on the regional scene , the matchmakers probably are not calling again.
That leaves several possible landing spots. Perhaps PFL/MVP needs another recognizable UFC veteran, or maybe Morales joins Scott Coker 's new Ki MMA promotion.
As for Lacerda (13-8), the loss snapped his two-fight MMA winning streak. More concerning, he was knocked unconscious by Andre Ewell at Karate Combat exactly one month earlier, making the quick turnaround—and another stoppage loss—difficult to ignore.
Hopefully, Lacerda takes some much-needed time away before competing again.
