Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about cosmetic procedures and her plans for future work, admitting she wants to feel good about her appearance while raising her two children.
The Oscar winner, 36, revealed she has had a breast lift and would consider getting a facelift someday. “I want to be a sexy mom,” the actress told The Cut. “At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s--- together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my s--- together.”
Lawrence’s comments come as she enters the beauty industry with the launch of Mes, a three-product hair care line that she developed alongside Jasmina Aganovic. This comes after Lawrence confirmed she will return as Katniss to the Hunger Games series.

Aganovic is an MIT-trained chemical biological engineer and beauty entrepreneur whose 2023 TED Talk caught Lawrence’s attention. The pair have since worked together on the brand, which launches with a repair mask priced at $52, a restyling serum for $44 and a volumizing mist for $34.
The products come in bottles inspired by terracotta vases, with the range reflecting Lawrence’s longstanding interest in hair care.

The Die My Love star has described herself as a “hair girl” and said her experiences working in Hollywood helped inspire the venture. Early in her acting career, Lawrence often had little say in what stylists did to her hair, even when the changes were significant.
“When you are a new and upcoming actress, you can’t be like, ‘Don’t put that on my hair,’” she told The Cut. “You sit in the chair and you say ‘Thank you’ and you shut your mouth.”
Lawrence previously recalled one particularly demanding experience while auditioning for the X-Men franchise, when her hair underwent several dramatic changes in a single day.
During an X-Men screen test, “they dyed my hair red, brown, black, and then platinum blond in the same day,” she told Nylon.

Her latest comments come as the actress prepares to return to one of her most recognizable roles. Lawrence has confirmed that she will appear in the upcoming Hunger Games film, Sunrise on the Reaping, reprising her role as Katniss Everdeen.
The new installment is scheduled to arrive in theaters next month and will also feature two other familiar faces from the original franchise: Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Woody Harrelson as an older Haymitch Abernathy.
Lawrence recently discussed her return to the series during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, describing the experience as both “unbelievable” and “so emotional.”
“It was so crazy. Because it was the same crew, it was the same camera guys, the same AD [assistant director] who I’ve worked with a million times too, because I love him. And Josh and Woody … and it was so emotional,” she said. “Josh and I didn’t walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other; it was so beautiful.”
