Ray Romanois officially a grandpa.
The actor's daughter Ally Romano shared viaInstagramon Wednesday, March 25, that her son was born last month. "One month with my guy, Rex Roman Wilezol," Ally, 35, wrote of her little one, whom she shares with husband Zachary Wilezol.
"He (begrudgingly) arrived on 2/25/26 with very long legs, massive hands, a full head of hair and the most perfect lips," Ally continued in the caption. "Although it wasn't the start to parenthood we imagined, our strong, very big boy has shown us a new meaning to love. He's given us a run for our money, but he's my new bestie and a trooper! 💚🦖."
In the photos, Rex wears blue striped pajama pants as he lies next to a print of his footprints.
Ray, 68, who isalso dad totwins Matthew and Gregory, 33, and youngest son Joseph, 28, with wifeAnna Romano, recently opened up about what he hopes his grandpa's name will be.
"You know, my father was Papa Al, so I think we're going to try to go with Papa Ray, but sometimes it evolves into something else, you know?" Ray said in an appearance onTodayin February.
Elsewhere in the interview, theParenthoodstar expressed his excitement for his first grandchild and why he heard being a granddad was the "best thing in the world."
"We have a little boy coming, and it's our first. And, I hear it's great," he said. "I hear it's the best thing in the world because it's like a parent, [where] you get to play with them, and then when they smell, you give them back."

During a previous appearance onToday, Ray once admitted that he "got real nervous after the baby was born" and "didn't do anything right" when he became a father for the first time with Ally.
"I went to pick them up, my wife and child, and [with my] newborn baby in my arms, [I] go outside [and say], 'Where's my minivan?' I parked in a tow-away zone so we had to go to Queens in a yellow cab," Ray recalled. "My daughter came home in a yellow cab."
Ally, who works in publicity,married Wilezolon Sept. 21, 2024, at the iconic New York Public Library on Fifth Avenue in New York City, PEOPLE previously reported.
The couple first met through "friends of friends" at Beauty Bar in May 2021. "He spilled martinis all over me and told me I looked likeCarmela Soprano— I was smitten," Ally recalled to PEOPLE, jokingly adding, "There's more to that story!"

After nearly two years of dating, Wilezol popped the question on April 14, 2023, at Ally's apartment, and the pair enjoyed a casual date night after the proposal with dinner at Arthur & Sons and theBroadway showShucked.
Speaking to PEOPLE after their wedding, Ally raved that the couple's big day "exceeded every expectation" she had.
"[It was] the wedding of my dreams," she shared. "I could not have worked with a better team and have my vision executed in any other way. I am truly grateful to have worked with such incredible and talented people."
